Product Description: A 12-panelled, black concertina book. Each panel envisages various road-side signs (diners, motels, etc.). The signs have been constructed using cut and paste, layering different coloured card, creating a 3D affect. Upon the alternate side are examples of the same signs, but dilapidated and in ruin. The colour pallete is chiefly browns, greys and navy.
Each end of the concertina has been fitted with a structured, hardback cover, which in turn has been coated with the black paper. The overall contrast between the coloured imagery and black pages, illuminates the imagery.
