Product Description: A 7 cm x 5.5 cm x 2 cm lightweight, card box in an off-yellow colouring. The box is a folded-based construction with no adhesive having being used. A blue coloured sticker adorns the front, depicting a fish with multiple hand-rendered typefaces illustrating the title. The box opens to reveal a fish compressed into a transparent, rectangular mould. The fish is a basic origami structure, made out of 3D straw-like piping. These are in contrasting tones of green and orange, accompanied by a pair of googly eyes. The transparent element of the piece enables an element of interactivity. The viewer can pick up the paperweight and view the fish from various angles, some often distorted.

Product Description: The piece is described as: “A short book on how to survive in the wild”. This pocket-sized concertina contains a humorous “How-To” dialogue, focusing upon wildlife survival. Charming ink drawings accompany specific examples of what to do, for example ‘Always ask a heron for help’ and ‘Always carry a paper bag”. The book has been printed in a chiefly monochromatic palette, upon a grey cartridge paper. Contrastingly, the front image has been printed in green, synonymous with the nature. The rear cover contains key details on how to contact the creator (printed in red).

Free the Bunnies/ Free the Rabbits

Product Description: A series of two books constructed using heavy-duty paper, bound in a folded fashion. Each cover (back and front) has been hand printed, likely using a stamp and letterpress. Each page contains a set of bars and a hand-constructed 3D rabbit. The ink-outline has been laser printed onto the fabric prior to being mounted. In conjunction with the rabbits are a series of brown labels. They contain images of popular products, which have been transferred onto the card using cellulose thinner. A brief blurb states the books focus: “It is unnecessary to test cosmetics, toiletries or household products on animals”. Both books cast a critical eye upon the world of animal testing through a shocking visual comparison.
The second book has been created using Somerset paper with the spine being covered in a brown, parcel paper. It is entitled “Free The Rodents” and contains three 3D fabric animals (rabbit, rat and guinea pig) alongside more detailed descriptions of how they have been treated.
Publication Details: Two folded books, Created using heavy-duty Cartridge and Somerset paper, including printed, 3D and chemically transferred imagery.

Product description: An est. 9 cm x 20 cm, stab stitched book. The book is hardback, with the stitched spine coated in dark green fabric.
The 26 interior pages have brown backgrounds, contrasted by various cut and paste imagery. The use of a darker backdrop perfectly frames the vibrant imagery, much of which is also typography.

The artist describes the book:
"I started making this book using material from a catalogue about fluxus I've got somewhere in Germany many years ago. When I saw this catalogue I wanted to make collage with it. So I cut out and tore pieces to do collage with images from other ephemera.
I love works from Fluxus, quirky images and special typography. That's how this book was made. I have the original collage book and scanned the pages and printed copies."

Description: A staple-bound book with a plastic cover. The book measures 6.5 cm x 3.5 cm. The 9/11 Flipbook documents the moment United Airlines Flight 175 crashed into the south tower of the World Trade Center. Since it’s publication the book has sparked much controversy. Blake has responded by saying “I know my 9/11 Flipbooks books will offend some people, but now that I’ve created a project for anyone to voice their opinions and reactions, I actually look forward to reading their responses”. A percentage of the proceeds of every flipbook are donated to the Twin Towers Orphan Fund, the Fire Department of New York, and the International Red Cross.

This book is a response by Coldwell to Freud and the Freud Museum. One of the books themes is the sense of unyielding past. It involves many images of Freuds' head and images of books, irons, suitcases etc. suggesting a life under construction. Some of the images are drawn by a computer mouse and others photo - collaged.

Frankenstein's Doll

Description: A chamois leather covered book containing four pages 210 mm by 150mm.
A hand made doll and pattern piece is included. This book is a response by Wilde to the classic text of Frankenstein. The book gives hand drawn step-by-step instructions on how to construct a doll. These are in brown ink and even detail eye brows and hearts. The cover is made from soft leather as is the reconstruction of the doll that accompanies the book.

Description: Boxed artists' book: Length 440 mm, Width 310mm, Depth 15mm. Containing a concertina books 420mm x 300mm. 16 pages on 308gm Photo Rag paper.The book is a mix of printed images, photographic prints and real ephemera attached to the pages. The cover is a black box tied with red sting with a label attached and two stamps to evoke the feeling of a posted package. This book records the experiences of a five day trip to the city of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia using the flotsam and jetsom of drawings, collected ephemera, photographs and most importantly maps that accompanied the journeys around the city and its environs.The book works in chronological order and attempts to provide the viewer with the emotion of the journeys taken around the city and bring to life the experiences around particular locations. It allows a sharing with others of experiences and senses. Using the book to construct and manipulate abstractions of space, here and there, through maps and ephemera used as a mediator between the individual’s experiences, senses and the world.
