Description:
A hard back glued concertina book Length 480 mm, Width 160mm, Depth 10mm. A red fabric matt cover is printed with black ink. The 10 pages are made from cream card.
This book is a concertina fold book utilising type and image with texts describing painful, overwhelming emotion and insufferable yearning. Words used like love, fire and beauty describe "hearts bitter suffering" and and a plea to " free the soul from torture". These are reflected in the boldness of the red abstract imagery. It is a narrative of forbidden love which ends in death.
