The book narrates the reader’s exploration of the village, an idyllic location consisting of a church, park and pub. Healy’s work is chiefly watercolour, although also includes mixed media pieces. “In a village” has an exposed spine, revealing red thread. The thread contrasts the front and back covers which contain watercolour-based line drawings.
Previous publications of Healy’s includes “Birds” and “A House in the Country”.
